Forests

Forests were made by chopping ~80mm model trees in half and trimming the bottom halves round while leaving the top halves as they were. The trees were then placed on washers that were filled with greenstuff, sanded, painted and drilled, prior to gluing the trees on them.

Note that it would be possible to create trees with solid metal discs by using an electric drill, but greenstuff and a finger drill does wonders when used properly. Also note that the reason why metal is used for the bases is that the trees get pushed over and enough weight on the bases usually prevents the trees from tipping over.
