Full army pics
I toke pictures from the whole army at Ostium.
I have finally finished my squig herd that has been under painting for few months.
Here is the huge furry beasty goddess - Arachnarok spider.
With last missing figure finished it was time to gather border patrol force for a group shot.
Unit of 8 Ogolls (just because I dont have troll figs), new moving trays and two new goblin characters.
Finished new goblins for my OnG army. 1200 border patrol force is 18 figs away. Full 2400pts army is 20 figs from here. That means only 2 more figs after finishing border patrol force.
I heard that identical twins are allways much more fun. Finished rock lobbers are here and with orc crews as goblins are no good at firing big things.
Hopefully this squig mangler is too pretty to shoot at so that it can cause lots of havoc upon enemies. I have plans for another but those plans take time to finish.
Wolf riders from 1989 got fresh paint on them. I was forced to make small repairs on damaged figs, but repairs are invisible now. Wish I had more of these figs.
Unit of long OOP wolf riders riding on metal wire :) and squig mangler. Mangler has my first ever greenstuff fig on left and second on right. You can really tell the difference.
Waaagh is getting together once again. Latest additions are Gobling Battle Chariot and first patch of classic Ruglugs Armoured Orcs from 1987. I have 80 Ruglugs waiting but I will paint only 35 for start.
Most of my finished figs are stored in plastic boxes. One box can hold 35 figs on 25mm square bases.
I got busy with few other arrers to fill back ranks. Unit is far from full strength as it full strength is planned to be at 35 orcs.
First set of 5 arrers including full command is ready. Command is from 1985 as earlier mentioned. Two arrers are from 1987. I gave these a bit modern love and they ended like this. I hope these pass critical eye of the table top quality.
Here are my latest addition to my Orcs and Goblins army. Doom Diver Catapults are the latest models. Stripped and cleaned Arrer Boyz are from late 80's. Command group is from 1985 and boyz from 1987 with exception of two Marauder figs from 1991.
Painting these toke quite a lot of time. I painted these almost two weeks with our or two each night. With all built up on a cavalry base meant that there were places difficult to reach with brush.
On the coming of new edition of Warhammer (8th) my old interest sparked. I wanted to try it and got into painting something in 28mm. One of my long forgotten project of Orcs and Goblins Army got small addition in form of Snotling Pump Wagons. I dug out my classic pump wagons from the era of 3rd edition WHFB and gave them little love with brush. Here are finished models waiting static and varnish.
